"Winding My Way Back" is a musical compilation of 10 songs on CD, Written by Sandra Wheeler under the stage name of Sandy River. The style of music has been labeled " Pop Country laced with blues."
As an independent music artist Sandy created "Winding My Way Back " in its entirety right here in our own state of North Carolina. Produced under the name of North Carolina Music Network the proceeds of this compilation will go toward the advancement of other independent music artists
Dedication
This musical composition, which I consider the best of my works, is dedicated totally to the "Independent Music Artist" of North Carolina. I call them the little foxes of the music industry at large. People like Sara Dew, Cassie Dunn, Robert Leonard, Holly Pleasant, Robin Bland, and especially Charlie Flowers-giving freely of themselves-tromping back roads, working state festivals, slight venues, back alleys in out-of-the-way places. A courageous people who most of the time without monetary reward have dedicated themselves to the loving art of entertaining others. making music simply because they can.
And last, but not least, I dedicate this composition with warm thanks to one of North Carolina's finest musicians, my good friend, and co-producer Ronnie Waters. In a world needing to be serenaded, may each new "Independent Music Artist" someday reap the benefits of their sacrificial love for. making music.
